APPLICATION PROCESS

    1. If the position requested is open, an interview will be set up.
    2. Must pass a physical and drug test before you can work at SPC. We are a Drug free Workplace.
    3. Must have a CDL license or the ability to obtain one

The following positions are employed at SPC:

Primary responsibilities will include overseeing crews, safety and procedures, paperwork and job planning

Primary work will consist of building and maintaining distribution and/or transmission lines

Apprentice must have any previous experience properly documented if coming from another contractor or entity. The apprentice must be willing to learn and attend labs, and will be required to pass a test and SPC set criteria to advance in the apprenticeship program

An operator, in addition to operating line equipment, must have the knowledge to frame and set poles.

A ground man’s job consists of labor support to the line crew.
